"Giving and Receiving at Christmas"
There is so much giving and receiving at Christmas. Many of us have been taught "it is more blessed to give than to receive." This sometimes leads us to not have difficulty receiving graciously. Please join us as we explore Receiving at Christmas.
There will be a discussion group after the service, the general focus will be on what we have received from others, especially from this who have passed on.
Demonstrating God's Unconditional Love
Several folks have joined me in the prosperity practice of giving a way a dollar a day. Check out experiences at our blog: Preparing for Prosperity. You are welcome to join us in this adventure, please feel free to customize it to fit your life!

The Greening of the Church
Please come and join us for this fun and informal event of decorating the church for Christmas. We are usually there till lunch time, lots of music, snacks, and fun.

Kids Christmas Program
The kids have been rehearsing for two months to put together an awesome event of theater and music. Please join us in supporting our youth and having a great time!

An annual favorite. Wonderful music and high thoughts, and the atmosphere that only candles and Silent Night can create.

The Spiritual Cinema Circle has been canceled this Friday and will next meet on Friday January 2. Many thanks to the organizers for the changes.

Discussion group after the Service: Grief, Mourning and the Holidays
For the next four Sundays, I would like to host a special theme oriented discussion group on grief, mourning, and the Holidays. All of us have grief. For some of us, we are mourning recently losses, for others, we have losses from the past that might not be completely resolved. Losses come in all types and forms: losses from death, from divorce and break-ups, losses of friendship, of health, of innocence. Please join us for this important time of honesty and empathy! UKV Prosperity !!!
Friends --
I want to encourage your participation with me in preparing ourselves for greater prosperity in the new year!
We at Unity of Kanawha Valley have already declared that we are a demonstration of God's unconditional Love, and I am feeling ready in my life to take this to a new level!
I want to increase my joy and gratitude and thanksgiving. I want to increase my prosperity consciousness. I want to rededicate myself to more conscious tithing and giving thanks in the new year. And I am starting to prepare for it NOW~!
I have started the UKV Prosperity Blog. I know some of you have already joined me, based on the response to the lesson this past Sunday. Here is a chance for us to share with each other our stories of small daily miracles.
I am looking forward to being with you in a period of spiritual growth and renewal. This week we are practicing "The Dollar Challenge!" I hope you will join me!!!
