Prosperity Consciouness is at the heart of Unity priniciples. Some see this as central to Jesus teaching as well.

Appreciations

Nancy-Louise gave several large rolls of trash bags for the manse,

Mindy and Nat stayed after church and cleaned the whole Sunday School room, and

Drema purchased shades for the upstairs rooms in the manse.
Matt and Christy for a fun filled Church campfire for the kids

Everything at the church and manse is moving along well.

Release
There will be a free paper shredding event at the Gander Mountain parking lot on Saturday, August 28th. This is a great way to let go of old papers.

Unity Pizza Campfire - this Friday

This Friday, Aug 20, 6:30pm-ish till 10:30pm-ish
A Unity Pizza Campfire


Please bring your folding camping/sports chairs if you have them. We're ordering pizza and having a campfire, among other things.  Bring a dish to share if you would like. 

If you have any outdoor games or sports equipment you'd like to bring, please do! We're looking forward to seeing you all! :)

Everyone is invited who wants to come--no kids necessary. ;)

 
Directions to Matt and Christy Schwartz:
 
I-64 West to the Winfield exit.  Turn right onto Rt 35 going toward Winfield.
 
In a few miles you will see an exit for Rt. 34 to Winfield.  DO NOT take it.  KEEP GOING. ;)
 
Several miles later, you will see a notice of an upcoming intersection and there will be a flashing light.  That's our intersection.
 
You need to turn left on Hurricane Creek Road.  We're about a mile out on the left.  It's a yellow house with a green roof and solar panels.  There's a barn up by the road where you turn in to our driveway.  You'll see it coming before you get to it.
 
Our number is 304-562-9240 if you have any questions or trouble finding the place.

We can let the kids have a water fight (I have water balloons and squirters).  Bring a change of clothes/flip-flops for the water fight.
