This Sunday at Unity, guest speaker Ernie Vecchio will be speaking on "The God Within: Realizing and Activating Your Personal Power.  Service is at 11am on Sunday.

 

Discussion group to follow the Sunday Service - Ernie will be leading the group in a discussion called "No End In Sight".  How to cope with and resolve the upcoming "end times" perdicted.  What the shift really means.

Karaoke night - this Friday evening at 7pm

Hello everyone-

Just a reminder that Karaoke night is this Friday night at 7pm at Unity of Kanawha Valley.  Everyone really had a lot of fun last month so please join us.  Admission is $2.00.

Side note from Blue- Special appearance by the Blue Bells (back-up for Blue) in the "Bad to the Bone" song.  The instruments have already arrived and will be in town Friday.  You don't want to miss this!!

Ron Sowell's Open Mic - this Friday at 7:30pm

Just a  reminder that Open Mic is this Friday (tomorrow) evening at 7:30pm at Unity of Kanawha Valley.  Admission is $5 and $2 for performers.  Performers sign up at 7pm.  Drinks and refreshments available for a small fee.  Everyone is welcome.  Invite your friends and family to enjoy one of the best evenings of entertainment in the valley.

giving away free washer and dryer

Hello everyone,

 

Unity would like to give away a free washing machine and clothes dryer to anyone that could use them.  The only stipulation is that you have to be able to move it.  We can help with manpower but I do not have a vehicle to move it.  If no one would like the machines, I will call a charity to come get them on the 17th.

volunteers needed for a few minutes after tomorrows church service

Hello everyone,

I am asking for a few volunteers to help Jack Kennedy move the speakers and the speaker tripods out of the sanctuary tomorrow after Unity's church service.  It should only take a few minutes.  There is a children's play performance in the sanctuary on Monday evening and they have asked for the speakers and stands to be moved so the kids won't trip or run into them.

this weekend events at UKV

Hello everyone,

 

We are some exciting events coming to Unity this weekend.

 

Friday- Spiritual Cinema Night - Food sharing starts at 6pm with the movie starting around 6:30pm.  It's always lots of fun to have a dinner and a movie with a wonderful group of people.

 

This Sunday - Rev. Denise Creech from Smithsville, VA will be our guest speaker at our 11am Sunday Service.  Her topic will be "The Mediator", about unconditional love.  Rev. Denise will also be conducting the "Prosperity's Ten Commandments" workshop from 12:45-2pm right after the Sunday service.  Workshop is based on Georgiana Tree West's book.  The workshop is being presented for a love offering. 

 

We are asking participants and members to bring a dish to share between the church service and the workshop.
