One of the foundation books in Unity is Lessons in Truth by Emile Cady. Cady was a Christ Science practitioner. Her thoughts were so close to the developing Unity thoughts that the Filmores adopted her writings.
We have in Charleston on Sundat March 24 an opportunity to hear from a well known CS healing practitioner.
Ginny Luedeman is now an international speaker and
practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing.
But back in the '60s, she was a hard rock singer
belonging to the Morning Glory group, which played in
concert with The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Jimi
Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and other popular groups.
An LSD overdose brought her to the study of Science
and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker
Eddy. The study of this book in conjunction with The Bible taught her a system of Christian healing called
Christian Science. She began a spiritual journey which has brought wonderful healing and joy.
