*Dr. Jerald F. Dirks has a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School, a Master of Arts (clinical child psychology) from the University of Denver, and a Doctor of Psychology degree (clinical psychology) from the University of Denver. He has a certificate in Islamic Studies from Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
Dr. Dirks was a former minister of the United Methodist Church. He is the author of many articles in the behavioral sciences (primarily in psychosomatic medicine) and comparative religion. Also, he is the author of several books that explore the commonalities and differences among the three Abrahamic religions.
*Dr. Dirks is married to Debra L. Dirks. Mrs. Dirks has lectured at ISNA conventions, American Universities, and at several American mosques and churches.
