St. George Orthodox Cathedral will be hosting the visitation
of the KURSK ROOT ICON. This 13th century icon is one
of the most beloved miraculous icons of Russia which has
drawn millions of pilgrims wherever it has traveled.
Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant Christians will benefit
from praying before this icon. Many miracles have occured
through the centuries and the monks who accompany the
icon will give a talk about the most recent experiences.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010
6 pm - Veneration of the Icon will begin
7 pm - Little Compline Service with Akathist to the Theotokos
(Virgin Mary)
Following Service - a presentation on the history of the Icon.
Veneration of the icon will continue until 10 pm.
