At 8:26 pm in Durant,Oklahoma surrounded by his family Virgil Leo Sowell breathed his last breath and returned to the arms of God.

Sky & Pam,

I am deeply grateful to you and all of my Unity family and friends for your kind thoughts and prayers during this time of great sadness. I feel privileged to have been here to witness my Dad's transition and to have gotten to express to him one last time how much I love him and what a great Dad he was to me.

Thank you for your love & support. It has been a great comfort to me and has given me strength. I have also been comforted each day by the knowledge that "where ever we are God is" and that we can never be separated from the ones we love because in love there is no separation.
