"Rick's surgery delayed until 6 this morning.  Just finished at 7:40.  Had laparoscopic antiseptic lavage.  No portion of colon removed.  Has a drain and will be in recovery for an hour or more, then to MICU.  Prayer for Protection and Unity family is powerful.  Still a long way from all clear but so much better than possibilities before surgery."
