My father, James Quinton Ansley, passed away on Saturday, 10-06-12, after a brief illness. Although he fought hard to stay with us, his heart and body just could no longer keep up with his spirit. My fishing buddy will be missed sorely, not just by me, but by many as I am finding out more and more, day by day. I will especially miss his laughter and the twinkle in his eyes. Most of all, I will miss his presence.

There will be a public wake at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home in Vidalia, GA on Thursday, 10-11-12 from 6 - 8 PM. The funeral will be Friday, 10-12-12 at 2 PM at Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Johnson's Corner, GA. The interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, just south of Vidalia, GA following the funeral service.

The gathering of the family will be at James Quinton's residence at 3259 Old Normantown Road, Vidalia GA. The number there is 912-538-7427.

My spirit has been warmed by all the generous outpouring of love and prayers for both my father and me during this time. I am eternally grateful to all those who have lifted us up in prayer.
