"Inner Focusing, Part 2""
Sky will be leading a workshop on "Inner Focusing." Focusing is a way to get in touch with subtle parts of one's self. It is a wonderful way to pray silently and to connect with one's inner core. This will be an introductory workshop, the first of three. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focusing

Gratitudes
Mindy and Nate donated a washer and dryer to the manse.

Unity also received several generous donations this week. One of the donations is for our new fire protection services and the other donation is for our memory garden.

Seeking Sunday School Teachers
Our growth has started to overwhelm our wonderful Sunday School teachers, Mindy, Judy, and Lisa. Our goal is to teach Unity principles that they can use in their lives, and to teach spirituality without fear. We would like to have enough teachers so we can divide the group into two classes. Our intention is that each service will be taped and available to the teachers on-line and by cd, so teachers will not "miss out" on the adult gathering.

Seeking a Child Care-Giver
We would also like to have a child care-giver for the youngest kids (all those little boys!) This could be a paid position. Please let me know of any wonderful baby-sitters or collage age kids you know who might be interested!

Considering Prosperity?
Check out this Blog: A Year of Giving
http://yearofgiving.wordpress.com/

And we continue to be amazed at how the Universe has brought together so many talented and generous people, with exactly the expertise that we needed, just at the right time. Demonstrations Abound!!!

And Remember: You are a Child of God!  You are a Blessing!

Sky

We are a demonstration of God's unconditional Love
We realize our Oneness and honor our uniqueness

Thank you God for the miracle that is my life!

Prosperity
I live in an abundant universe.

I give freely, not only of my financial resources, but also of my time, energy and love. I share from my willingness and eagerness to bless others. Whether I recycle gently-used household items, spend time tutoring a child, or volunteer to assist someone in need, I am giving from my heart. I receive the blessings of joy, satisfaction and gratitude as soon as I give to another.

As I give and receive, I realize that material possessions do not define prosperity. Prosperity is a mind-set, a consciousness, a knowing that everything we need is already supplied. My giving opens the way for God's blessings to circulate. I give from the knowledge that I live in an abundant universe.

The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.--2 Corinthians 9:6

Gratitude
From a place of gratitude, I see beauty in everyone and everything.

When I adopt an attitude of gratitude, I create a shift in my outlook. Instead of seeing problems, I see opportunities. Instead of feeling hopeless, I feel hopeful. By focusing on what is working well, I invite more of the same.

When I let others know, "I am grateful for you," I create a connection of love and understanding. Through these simple words, I help others see their own beauty and the contribution they make in the world.

Through prayer, meditation or journal writing, I begin and end each day reflecting on the many ways Spirit blesses me. I approach life in a state of gratitude. I see the magnificence all around me, and I am filled with joy for all the good in this world.

We welcome this in every way and everywhere with utmost gratitude.--Acts 24:3
