Events this Week at Unity

Hello everyone,

A huge thank you to everyone for all their hard work last week.  UKV had four events going on with lots of prep, set-up, working the events, and clean-up.  Our volunteers are truly amazing.  Many hands make for lighter work.  We can't thank you enough!!!



The following events are taking place at Unity of Kanawha Valley this weekend:

FRIDAY - OPEN MIC 4 KIDS AT 6:30PM.  Performers sign up at 6pm.  This event is for performers from the ages of 5-15,  Everyone is welcome.  No cover charge. 

SATURDAY - QUIET DAY RETREAT WITH MEGAN LYON FROM 10AM-4:30PM. 
    "A Quiet Day Retreat, held on Saturday, July 28th from 10am-4:30pm, is an opportunity to set time and space aside to connect with God, self, others, and nature.  Silence will be observed during most of the retreat.  Tools will be offered to help aid in your day of quiet contemplation, including a Chakra meditation and a labyrinth for a walking meditation.  A light lunch will be provided and there is no cost for the day.  Please email Megan Lyon at miggiwiggi@hotmail.com if you have any questions."  -  Megan

SUNDAY = CHURCH SERVICE AT 11AM.  SKY WILL BE SPEAKING ON "THE HERO'S JOURNEY".  Discussion group to follow.

ALSO ON SUNDAY - BAG PARTY AT 6PM.  Sherri Walker will be hosting a party for bags that she sells.  This is a fundraiser for UKV.
