Events this Week at Unity of Kanawha Valley

Hello everyone,

The following events are happening at Unity this week:

FRIDAY - RON SOWELL'S OPEN MIC AT 7:30PM.  Performers sign up at 7pm.  General admission is $5.00 with kids, seniors, and performers at $2.00.  Please join us for a wonderful evening of entertainment.  Refreshments are available for a small donation.

SATURDAY - INNER LISTENING CLASS AT 10:30AM.  Marianne Gettman leads a relaxing, de-stressing class of balance and breathing exercises, guided meditations, and Qi Gong Flow.  This class is donation basis and all proceeds go to Unity.

SUNDAY - BOARD MEETING AT 9AM.

ALSO ON SUNDAY - BOOK STUDY GROUP AT 10AM.  This month, "I of the Storm" book is been studied.

SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICE AT 11AM - Our "love" theme for February continues with Rev. Sky Kershner.  Musicians will be Ron Sowell, Jack Kennedy, and Ryan Kennedy.

COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS CLASS FOLLOWING CHURCH SERVICE- Sky will lead a class on building communication skills and the usage of Non-Violent Communications at 12:30pm.

Friday, Feb. 15th - "Bad to the Bone" Karaoke Night at 7pm.



A huge thank you to everyone for the "souper" bowl fundraiser.  It was a huge success.  UKV made $614.25 on soup and $335 on bowls.  Thank you also to Sally Barton for encouraging the potters from WV to participate and for her delivery of the bowls of items for the sale.  We could not have had pulled off such a huge success without your help.  Thank you!!!
