Hello everyone,
We have a very busy and exciting weekend at Unity this week:
FRIDAY - Open Mic 4 Kids at 6:30pm. Performers sign up at 6pm. This month's event will be hosted by Sky. Performers ages 5-15 years, parents, grandparents, and friends are all welcome.
ALSO THIS FRIDAY - Karaoke Night with Blue and Wes at 7:30pm right after the Open Mic 4 Kids. We all have a great time singing and dancing. Everyone is welcome. Admission is $2.00. There is alot of new music and songs this month.
SATURDAY - Art and Soup Sale from 11am-2pm. The artwork ranges from jewelry to photography to paintings. Soups, cornbread, desserts, and drinks will also be available for purchase. Please join us for this exciting new event.
ALSO ON SATURDAY - Trout Fishing in America will be performing for the Woody Hawley Concert at the Clay Center at 7:30pm. Tickets are $18 or $15 for seniors and students. For more information, please contact the Clay Center at 304-561-3570 or www.theclaycenter.org.
SUNDAY - Church service at 11am. Sky will be speaking on "Moving in the Direction of Your Values".
AFTER CHURCH - The Jesus Seminar Book Study continues from 12:30-1:15pm led by Sky. Discussion is based on "The First Christmas" by Marcus Borg and Dominic Crossen.
ALSO AFTER CHURCH - Children's Chorus Practice.
SUNDAY AFTERNOON - Heidi Muller and Bob Webb in concert at 3pm. They are celebrating the release of their new CD, "Light the Winter's Dark". $10 donation at the door. For more information, please contact Heidi at www.heidimuller.com or 304-382-9422.
