windows for the manse building behind Unity

Hello everyone,

Thanks to the hard work, generosity, and dedication of our wonderful members, the main building of the Unity church is in good shape to face the coming cold winter months.  The manse, however, has not been a focus of our fund raising efforts.  Last winter, the heating bills for the manse alone were in the upper $500-$600 range for several months, making it difficult if not impossible for the tenant to pay.  The house suffers a substantial heat loss due to the cold wind blowing in the windows.  We have begun a project to replace the windows of the manse, with several members coming forward to sponsor a window, and we have collected enough so far by word of mouth to put in seven new windows.  It occurred to us that many of you were not aware of this effort and we would like to make everyone aware of the opportunity to be involved in this wonderful project.

Three bids on replacement windows were obtained.  UKV went with Window World since they were the most inexpensive.  The windows cost $265 per window with the large windows (over four panes across) counting as two windows.  Several people have donated a window or a portion of a window.  Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much,

Pam
